The House Aide at Margaritaville Beach Resort Fort Myers Beach plays a crucial role within the housekeeping team. This position involves maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the resort to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for both guests and staff. The House Aide supports the housekeeping operations by thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing public spaces, offices, meeting rooms, and other areas that guests and employees frequent. The role is essential in upholding the resort’s commitment to health and safety, particularly through routine sanitization of high-touch surfaces such as door handles.
In addition to maintaining cleanliness, the House Aide is responsible for the upkeep and proper maintenance of janitorial equipment, ensuring tools are clean and functional for optimum efficiency. Handling biohazardous and hazardous materials safely and in compliance with regulations is a key responsibility, safeguarding the health of everyone on the premises. The House Aide also monitors and reports any maintenance or repair issues promptly to ensure the environment remains free from disruptions or hazards.

Job Duties
- Maintain the highest standards to ensure quality and cleanliness in public spaces, offices, meeting rooms, and other required areas
- Wipe down and sanitize door handles and other frequently touched surfaces to prevent the spread of germs and maintain a hygienic environment
- Conduct routine sanitization of surfaces per health and safety guidelines
- Assist housekeeping staff as necessary to ensure efficient cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms and common areas
- Keep all janitorial equipment properly maintained, clean, and free of marks to ensure optimal functionality and appearance
- Safely handle and dispose of biohazardous or hazardous materials in compliance with regulations
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines at all times to ensure a safe and healthy environment for guests and staff
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to leadership promptly to facilitate timely resolution and prevent potential hazards or disruptions
