Job Requirements
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Food Safety and Alcohol Awareness certification within 30 days of hire
- ability to stand for 10-12 hours per shift
- ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- ability to communicate verbally in English
- ability to see, hear, taste, smell, stoop, bend, stretch, kneel and reach
- availability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- willingness to perform additional duties as assigned
- adherence to company policies and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful hospitality or food service industry experience
- ability to lead a team positively
- history of upholding high cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards
- knowledge of front-of-house and some back-of-house operations
- Food Safety and Alcohol Awareness certification obtained within required time frame
- ability to navigate and use operational manuals and training programs
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- experience in training and staff development
- ability to manage cash handling procedures accurately
- punctual and reliable
- professional demeanor and leadership by example
Job Duties
- Lead a successful shift meeting or exceeding established goals
- develop and support World of Beer hourly staff
- maintain highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and sanitation
- train new employees on front-of-house and some back-of-house stations
- navigate and uphold standards from Operations Manual
- enforce Responsible Vending and Safety policies
- manage cash handling accurately
- communicate pertinent information effectively to team and management
- plan shifts and ensure adequate staffing with a focus on labor cost efficiency
- provide ongoing training, feedback and behavior redirection
- comply with all company policies and set an example by leading professionally
- use the Compass method to manage shift flow
- open or close the location safely and effectively
- promote the WOB brand and community events
- ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- resolve customer and employee issues promptly and satisfactorily
