The position at hand is a full-time hourly Sushi Chef role based at 501 West 30th Street, New York, NY 10001. This role involves preparing and presenting sushi and other related food products to customers, combining restaurant, catering, and special event experiences to create a unique dining occasion. Working Monday through Friday, hours may vary, with more details available during the interview process. The pay range is competitive, offering between $28.00 to $30.00 per hour.

This position requires high-level knife skills and the ability to skillfully execute sushi preparation, production, and presentation. The Sushi Chef must adhere to stringent food safety and sanitation procedures, ensuring that foods are stored appropriately and that food handling meets all corporate and governmental standards. Maintaining sanitation of equipment and workstations is a key aspect of this role, alongside ensuring proper portion control and serving temperatures for optimal food quality. The Sushi Chef will interact with customers to enhance their dining experience, demonstrating thorough knowledge of daily menu items and catering to customer preferences.
