The Restaurant Manager ensures that all restaurant zones operate efficiently and maintain Raising Cane’s standards. Acting as the manager on duty, the individual handles opening and closing duties, cash handling, and overall shift accountability. Responsibilities include enforcing company policies, executing shifts that comply with safety and operational standards, directing crewmembers, providing exemplary customer service, and managing employee recognition programs. The Restaurant Manager also approves employee activities that require managerial consent such as discounts, promotions, and timeclock adjustments. Maintaining cleanliness and ensuring operational readiness of the restaurant facility is essential. This role demands strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple changing priorities, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to solving problems. Proficiency in technology tools including Microsoft Office and adaptability to new systems is necessary. The position offers opportunities to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, and weekends and may require travel for training or work-related functions. Raising Cane’s values experience, requiring candidates to have at least one year of restaurant or retail management experience, be at least 18 years old, and possess a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Job Duties
- Ensure operations meet Raising Cane's standards in all restaurant zones during a shift
- Act as manager on duty and open and close the restaurant
- Manage cash handling and ensure accountability
- Enforce Raising Cane's policies and standards
- Execute shift management meeting Raising Cane's operations and safety standards
- Use required tools, forms, and logs to support shift execution, document results, and take corrective action when needed
- Direct crewmembers during a shift
- Provide exemplary customer service
- Utilize reward and recognition program for crewmembers in the restaurant
- Authorize employee functions requiring manager approval such as discounts, promotions, and timeclock overrides
- Ensure cleanliness of the restaurant and ensure the facility is in good working order
- Complete other duties as assigned
