We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Janitorial Day Porter to join our team in Nashville, TN. This is a full-time position with a scheduled workweek from Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, offering a consistent daytime schedule and weekends off, which is ideal for candidates looking for work-life balance. The pay rate for this role is $18.00 per hour.

As a Janitorial Day Porter, you will be a vital part of our cleanliness operations during day hours. Your role will focus on maintaining the facility’s cleanliness, ensuring restrooms and public areas are fully stocked and hygienic, managing waste removal efficiently, and performing routine cleaning tasks to keep the environment clutter-free and welcoming. This position demands an individual who takes pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness and has the physical ability to carry out janitorial duties throughout the shift.

In this role, you will serve as the face of the janitorial team to visitors and employees alike, representing the company’s standards of quality and professionalism. Your contribution will directly impact the safety and comfort of everyone who enters the facility by preventing hazards and maintaining a neat environment. You will work closely with supervisors and other team members to ensure all cleaning responsibilities are completed timely and to the company’s stringent requirements.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of professional janitorial or day porter experience, demonstrate strong reliability with punctuality and a solid attendance record, and show keen attention to detail when identifying areas that require cleaning or restocking. Physical stamina is necessary, as the job requires lifting up to 35 pounds repetitively and standing for the duration of the shift. Additionally, passing a background and drug screening is mandatory for employment consideration.
