The role of Driver, Hourly CDL-B is a vital position within Vistar's operational framework. This role is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of food and food-related products to customers through intrastate and interstate routes including local, shuttle, overnight, and drive-and-drop assignments. Drivers operate tractor trailers or straight trucks while adhering strictly to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies. The position involves early morning dispatches without requiring overnight stays or layovers, supporting a healthy work-life balance with predictable local routes that return drivers home daily.
