Villa Restaurant Group is currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Hourly Assistant Manager to join their team. This role is perfectly suited for individuals who possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and prior experience working in dynamic, fast-paced restaurant environments. The Hourly Assistant Manager will be a key figure in supporting the General Manager with daily restaurant operations, ensuring that all functions run smoothly and efficiently to deliver exceptional guest experiences. The Hourly Assistant Manager plays a critical role in assisting with the supervision and support of team members to maintain high-quality service standards. They are responsible for training and developing employees, ensuring compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company policies, and managing inventory, ordering, and cost controls. The role also requires maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming restaurant environment, handling guest inquiries professionally, and resolving concerns promptly. Candidates for this position should bring at least 1 year of restaurant supervisory or management experience, preferably in quick service settings, alongside prep and cook experience. Those with pizza-making skills are considered a plus. This position demands excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, strong leadership and team-building skills, and the ability to multitask under pressure. Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is also necessary. While ServSafe certification is beneficial, it is not a mandatory requirement.
