Job Description
LHG is a growing hospitality company distinguished by its commitment to elevating guest experiences through exceptional service and operational excellence. As part of a dynamic industry, LHG focuses on creating memorable stays for travelers by ensuring convenience, comfort, and a welcoming atmosphere throughout their property portfolio. Our dedication to growth involves strategic market leadership, fostering talented teams, and delivering unmatched customer satisfaction that supports our mission objectives. With ongoing expansion, LHG is proud to offer promising employment opportunities that provide competitive hourly wages, rewarding tip potentials, and comprehensive benefit programs designed to enhance work-life balance and employee well-being. Our work environment encourages teamwork, professional development, and recognition to help each team member thrive.
We are currently seeking a diligent and friendly Valet/Shuttle Driver to join the LHG team. This role is central to improving our guests' arrival and departure experience by safely parking their vehicles and providing timely shuttle services to various local destinations such as hotels, airports, and shopping centers. The position offers an hourly wage of $15 plus tips, along with significant perks including immediate access to the Hilton Team Member Travel Program, holiday and sick pay availability, and a generous $250 hiring bonus. Employees receive one week of paid vacation after one year of full-time employment and enjoy half-priced meals while on shift. This role is ideal for someone passionate about guest service, with strong driving skills, and an energetic, customer-oriented personality. Working hours range between 16 to 32 hours per week, supplemented with a bonus plan for Sunday night shifts to reward dedication and performance.
As a Valet/Shuttle Driver at LHG, you will be the first point of contact for guests arriving at the property, playing a vital role in forming a positive first impression. Key responsibilities include greeting guests warmly, managing vehicle parking logistics efficiently, and operating courtesy vans with attention to safety and passenger comfort. You will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and operational condition of the shuttle van and the property’s front porte-cochere area, ensuring a pristine environment for all guests. Participating in monthly front desk meetings and supporting messaging and errands around the property further enhances communication and teamwork within the hospitality team.
This position requires a candidate who can consistently follow established routines, demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills, and physically manage tasks such as lifting luggage and handling environmental maintenance activities like snow shoveling and ice melting. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with at least two years of driving experience and a clean driving record. Candidates must be at least 19 years old and hold a CDL license if operating vans with more than 16 passengers. LHG values a diverse workplace and is an equal opportunity employer that prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind. We invite enthusiastic and dependable individuals to apply and contribute to our growing team, ensuring an exceptional guest experience with every stay.
