Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One to three months related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend English
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to perform arithmetic operations using American money
  • Ability to understand 24-hour and military time
  • Willingness to work night shifts including weekends
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
  • Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Availability for overnight shifts from 10:30 PM to 7 AM
  • Must work weekends

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One to three months related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Basic math knowledge
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to comprehend and write simple correspondence
  • Effective presentation skills in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers relevant to money
  • Understanding of 24-hour and military time systems
  • Understanding of applicable rates for time passed

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests and co-workers
  • Acknowledge and greet guests immediately while maintaining professionalism
  • Address guests using last names when appropriate
  • Maintain accuracy and composure under pressure
  • Use appropriate salutations and phone etiquette
  • Assist guests with directions and inquiries
  • Provide information about facility amenities and local attractions
  • Determine guest charges and process payments via cash, credit or direct billing
  • Accurately categorize tickets for audit
  • Collect and reconcile revenue and provide payment receipts
  • Complete accurate and timely shift reports
  • Follow standard operating procedures related to cash banks
  • Operate registers, gates and credit card machines
  • Obtain information about daily events and rates
  • Complete tasks as instructed by Lead Cashier or Account Manager
