The work schedule for the Valet Cashier position includes AM and PM shifts. The Valet Cashier plays an essential role in Towne Park’s commitment to excellence by securing guest vehicle keys, collecting and reconciling revenue accurately, and providing outstanding hospitality services. This position requires a friendly and professional demeanor while greeting guests, handling cash transactions, and managing parking tickets and claim checks. The role involves operating various equipment such as registers, gates, and credit card machines, and requires knowledge of 24-hour and military time systems to calculate parking rates accurately. Valet Cashiers are responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment and must perform all duties following strict operational procedures and customer service standards. Physical demands include standing or sitting for long periods, occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions. The role demands attention to detail, the ability to communicate effectively with guests and coworkers, and adherence to company policies including passing background checks and drug screenings. Job Requirements
- Must have high school diploma or GED
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
- One to three months related customer service experience or equivalent education and experience without diploma or GED
- Cashier or cash handling experience preferred
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to perform basic math operations with money and measurements

Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using last names during interactions
- Practice proper phone etiquette and assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and inquiries
- Collect and reconcile revenue, furnish receipts upon request, and complete detailed shift reports
- Operate equipment including register, gate, and credit card machine
- Maintain clean and neat work environment, including cashier booth, parking areas, and trash receptacles
- Collect claim checks from guests prior to issuing vehicle keys, check for vehicle location and damage surveys before securing keys
