The role of Guest Service Associate at Towne Park is an integral part of the company’s mission to provide exceptional hospitality services to guests. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license for applicable state or commutable distance
- Minimum one month related experience and/or training or equivalent
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic including money calculations
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Weekend availability recommended
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state of work or within commutable distance
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend simple instructions, correspondence and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Effective presentation skills in one-on-one and small group settings
- Basic arithmetic skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with money
- Understanding of 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand applicable rates
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using professional and friendly demeanor
- Use guest last names during interactions
- Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
- Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
- Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
- Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
- Provide guests with information about outlets, meeting rooms and or amenities of the facility as well as main attractions in the area
- Deliver messages, items and or guest amenities as requested
- Shuttle guests to appropriate approved places
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures upon arrival
- Issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys
- Collect claim checks prior to issuing keys
- Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey and claim check receipt
- Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
