Job Requirements
- Valid driver’s license for the state of work or a commutable distance
- Flexibility to work PM shifts including weekends
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Effective communication skills
- Basic computer or phone etiquette
- Willingness to follow established procedures and operational guidelines
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One month related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information to guests and colleagues
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with money
- Understanding of 24-hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names and proper salutation
- Park and retrieve vehicles safely while driving cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
- Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Provide directions, taxi assistance, reservations and facility information
- Deliver messages, items or guest amenities and shuttle guests as approved
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
- Issue and collect claim checks after handling vehicle keys
- Complete and maintain accurate ticket information including key tags, guest folios, vehicle location, damage surveys and claim check receipts
- Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
