Job Description
Towne Park is a leading parking and guest services company, recognized for delivering exceptional customer experiences in hospitality environments such as hotels, resorts, and event venues. The company is dedicated to providing safe and efficient parking solutions while maintaining a high standard of service that emphasizes friendliness and attention to detail. Towne Park strives to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally during every interaction. This commitment to excellence helps position Towne Park as a trusted partner for property owners and operators across various locations, supporting over a decade of consistent growth and operational success.
The Guest Service Associate role at Towne Park is a vital position focused on delivering outstanding hospitality services to guests. This role involves greeting guests warmly, assisting with luggage, safely parking and retrieving vehicles, and providing helpful information about the property and surrounding area. The associate acts as the first point of contact and therefore sets the tone for the overall guest experience. Emphasizing safety, efficiency, and courtesy, the Guest Service Associate must operate vehicles with caution and professionalism, opening doors for guests and ensuring their comfort throughout arrival and departure processes.
This position offers an hourly base pay starting at $10.98, with additional income through tips ranging from $4 to $9 per hour, providing a competitive and rewarding compensation package. The work schedule is flexible but primarily covers mid-shifts, requiring open availability to meet operational needs. Employees in this role benefit from a range of insurance options, including accident, critical illness, and hospital indemnity coverage, along with telemedicine benefits. Additionally, participation in a 401k retirement savings plan is available to eligible employees, though seasonal and temporary workers may not qualify for some benefits.
The role demands physical stamina and resilience, as the working environment includes outdoor conditions that can involve exposure to extreme weather, requiring associates to be adaptable and prepared for varied climate situations. Physical requirements include the ability to lift objects up to 100 pounds occasionally and carry out repetitive motions such as standing, walking, and reaching. Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license and demonstrate proficiency in safe driving practices, including parking skills, particularly parallel parking and manual transmission operation if applicable.
Superior communication skills are essential as the Guest Service Associate must engage effectively with guests, co-workers, and management. Using guest last names, addressing guests courteously, and conveying accurate information about parking rates, local amenities, and transportation options contribute to enhancing service quality. The role also involves minor administrative tasks such as maintaining ticket information and managing vehicle claim checks diligently to ensure safe handling and retrieval.
Towne Park values teamwork, professionalism, and responsible decision-making, recognizing that errors in judgment can impact operational efficiency and guest satisfaction. Associates work under specific guidelines but are encouraged to maintain a proactive approach to guest service, reflecting the company’s reputation and client expectations. Overall, this position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about guest services and hospitality to grow their careers in a dynamic and supportive environment.
