The Guest Service Associate role at Towne Park is a pivotal position tasked with providing exceptional hospitality service with attentiveness, friendliness, and efficiency. The main duties include parking and retrieving guest vehicles carefully and promptly, assisting guests with their luggage, and delivering remarkable service from arrival to departure. This position requires the associate to maintain a pleasant and professional demeanor while greeting guests and responding to their needs, upholding high standards of customer interaction through courteous communication including the use of guest last names. The associate also plays a critical role in managing valet operations including issuance and collection of claim checks, ensuring accurate documentation of parked vehicles, damage surveys, and revenue collection.

Towne Park offers competitive and fair compensation, with the hourly base pay for this role starting at $21 per hour plus the opportunity to earn tips. The role is based on evening shift schedules from Monday to Sunday, with hours ranging from 2p-10p and 4p-8p. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Valid driver’s license applicable to the work state
  • One month related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend simple English correspondence
  • Ability to perform basic math operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
  • Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests and co-workers
  • Greet guests within five feet using guest last names
  • Use correct salutation of the day and welcome guests
  • Practice proper phone etiquette
  • Park and retrieve vehicles slowly and cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
  • Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
  • Provide information about facility outlets, meeting rooms and amenities
  • Deliver messages and guest amenities as requested
  • Shuttle guests as approved
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
  • Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys
  • Collect claim checks prior to issuing keys
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information
  • Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
