Job Description
Towne Park is a renowned hospitality services company dedicated to creating smiles and delivering exceptional guest experiences in the parking and valet industry. With a strong commitment to customer service excellence, Towne Park serves millions of patients, visitors, and guests across various locations, including hospitals, hotels, and event centers. The company prides itself on fostering a culture of compassion and professionalism, where every team member is empowered to make a meaningful impact on the lives of customers and colleagues alike. Towne Park offers a rewarding career that goes beyond a job, presenting opportunities for personal growth, skill development, and meaningful engagement with people from diverse backgrounds.
The role of Guest Service Associate at Towne Park involves providing outstanding hospitality services by attending to guests in a friendly, efficient, and professional manner. This pivotal position is essential to the company’s mission of creating memorable experiences for every visitor. The Guest Service Associate is primarily responsible for parking and retrieving vehicles safely and promptly while offering assistance with luggage and other guest needs during arrival and departure. This role demands a courteous and attentive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask within a fast-paced environment. The position is part-time or full-time depending on the hotel business volumes, with open availability highly recommended.
Compensation for this role includes an hourly base pay ranging from $8 to $10 plus $13 to $15 per hour in tips, reflecting Towne Park’s commitment to offering competitive and fair wages based on skills, experience, education, and location. The company also provides a range of benefits to eligible employees, such as accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, telemedicine benefits, and access to a 401k retirement savings plan. Eligibility criteria depend on the job classification, length of employment, and hours worked, with seasonal and temporary roles excluded from some benefits.
In this position, Guest Service Associates engage with guests by greeting them warmly, using their names, and delivering personalized service that enhances their overall experience. They are tasked with using proper phone etiquette, assisting guests with directions, reservations, taxi arrangements, and providing information about facility amenities and local attractions. Associates are responsible for the meticulous handling of key tags, claim checks, and guest vehicles while ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational guidelines. The role encompasses a blend of physical activity—such as running, walking, lifting, and standing for extended periods—in an outdoor environment subject to varying weather conditions.
Towne Park values employees who demonstrate the ability to communicate clearly in English, comprehend instructions, and perform basic mathematical operations involving currency and time calculations. Driving skills, including operating a manual transmission and parallel parking, are highly desirable. The company supports reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities to perform all essential functions successfully. Overall, working as a Guest Service Associate at Towne Park offers a dynamic, interactive, and gratifying career path that combines customer service excellence with a welcoming and supportive work culture.
