Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license for the state or within commutable distance
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of customer and personal service principles
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information to guests, clients, and employees
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with American money
- Understanding of 24-hour and military time systems
- Understanding of applicable rates
- Ability to operate manual transmission highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state or within a commutable distance
- One month related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend standard English
- Ability to perform basic math operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to understand time systems and parking rate calculations
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet with professional and friendly demeanor, using guest last names
- Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location, practice proper phone etiquette
- Park and retrieve vehicles carefully and safely, assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
- Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and inquiries, provide information about facility amenities and local attractions
- Deliver messages, guest amenities and shuttle guests as needed
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures, issue and collect claim checks, complete and maintain ticket information accurately
- Calculate and collect revenue when necessary
- Adhere to established procedures and maintain operational excellence
