Job Description

Towne Park is a leading provider in the hospitality parking services industry, known for its commitment to exceptional guest experiences and high-quality valet and parking solutions. Established with a focus on delivering attentive, friendly, and efficient customer service, Towne Park operates parking facilities across various locations, including hotels, event venues, and commercial properties. The company prides itself on fostering a customer-centric environment where professionalism and guest satisfaction are paramount. Towne Park offers competitive compensation and a supportive workplace culture that promotes career growth and employee well-being.

The role of Guest Service Associate at Towne Park is critical in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for guests from the moment they arrive until their departure. This position is responsible for providing exceptional hospitality services, including parking and retrieving guest vehicles promptly and safely as well as assisting guests with their luggage. In addition to valet parking duties, the Guest Service Associate offers personalized guest interactions such as greeting guests courteously using their last names, assisting with directions, handling reservations, and delivering messages or items as requested. The role demands a high level of attentiveness, friendliness, and efficiency to enhance the overall guest experience.

This is a part-time or full-time position with an hourly base pay starting at $10.98, plus an additional $10 to $12 per hour in tips, reflecting the earnings potential based on skill and interaction quality. The work schedule includes AM and PM shifts, with opportunities for career advancement in hospitality and service domains. Employees in this role are provided with access to several benefits, including accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, telemedicine benefits, and participation in the company’s 401(k) retirement savings plan, based on eligibility requirements such as job classification and length of employment.

The Guest Service Associate must be physically capable of performing duties that often require standing or sitting for extended periods, handling luggage, and occasionally exerting significant physical effort in moving objects weighing up to 100 pounds. Since much of the work is performed outdoors, the associate should be prepared to work in varying weather conditions and maintain a positive attitude through these challenges. This role also involves frequent communication with guests and coworkers to provide detailed information about facility amenities and local attractions, ensuring guests have a memorable visit.

Towne Park values safety, efficiency, and professionalism. The Guest Service Associate follows established procedures closely to ensure vehicle safety while parking or retrieving cars, including diligent completion of documentation such as claim checks, keys handling, damage surveys, and revenue calculation. The company fosters an environment where employees are empowered to make decisions within operational guidelines, contributing to smooth department functioning and overall guest satisfaction. This position not only requires technical parking skills such as parallel parking and, ideally, operating manual transmissions, but also excellent interpersonal communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
