The role of Guest Service Associate at Towne Park is a dynamic and engaging position focused on delivering outstanding hospitality services to guests. The Guest Service Associate is tasked with parking and retrieving guest vehicles safely and promptly, assisting with luggage handling, and providing information and assistance to enhance guest comfort and convenience.

This position requires individuals with a high level of hospitality awareness, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong commitment to service excellence. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver’s license, basic experience in customer service or related fields, and the ability to operate vehicles safely, including manual transmissions and parallel parking. The physical demands of the role involve considerable standing, walking, and lifting up to 100 pounds, often in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree
  • Must hold a valid driver's license for the state of employment or commutable distance
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • Ability to read and write standard English language
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information to guests, clients and employees
  • Ability to add and subtract three-digit numbers and multiply and divide by 10s and 100s including American money
  • Ability to understand 24-hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Greet guests with a friendly and professional demeanor within five feet
  • Park and retrieve vehicles safely and promptly
  • Assist guests with luggage handling and bell services
  • Provide directions, taxi assistance, reservations and local information to guests
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests
  • Issue and collect claim checks and maintain accurate ticket information
  • Deliver guest amenities and shuttle guests as needed
