Towne Park is currently seeking a Guest Service Associate to join their team. This role is fundamental in ensuring guests receive attentive, friendly, and efficient hospitality services. The guest service associate will be responsible for parking and retrieving vehicles safely and promptly, assisting with guest luggage, and enhancing the overall guest experience by offering helpful information and courteous service. The position offers an hourly compensation range of $8 to $10, with an additional $5 to $10 per hour in tips, reflecting a commitment to fair and competitive pay. Work schedules may include morning and evening shifts, providing flexibility to meet operational needs.

The responsibilities for this role include greeting guests warmly, handling vehicles with care, assisting with luggage, providing information about facility amenities and local attractions, and managing parking logistics including claim check issuance and revenue collection. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and at least one month of related experience or training. Skills needed include basic math proficiency, good communication, the ability to read and write standard English, and the ability to operate a vehicle, with manual transmission and parallel parking skills being highly desirable.

Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
ability to read and write standard English language

ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
ability to perform these operations using units of American money

Job Duties

posts up in designated areas when not completing tasks
parks and retrieves vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
assists guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
opens all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
assists guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
provides guests with information about outlets, meeting rooms and/or amenities of the facility as well as main attractions in the area
delivers messages, items and/or guest amenities as requested
shuttles guests to appropriate places that are approved by the location
explains parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
issues claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys and collects claim checks from all guests prior to issuing keys
consistently completes and maintains all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, location of vehicle, damage survey and claim check receipt from all vehicles taken into the valet system
consistently completes location on all key tags after parking vehicle
calculates and collects revenue for vehicles when needed
