The role of Guest Service Associate at Towne Park is designed for individuals who thrive on providing outstanding customer service in fast-paced, dynamic environments. This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $12 plus tips ranging from $5 to $15 per hour, with work schedules including AM and PM shifts, making it flexible to accommodate various lifestyles. As a Guest Service Associate, you will play an integral part in the guest experience by providing friendly, attentive, and efficient service. You will be responsible for parking and retrieving guest vehicles safely and promptly, assisting with luggage services, and ensuring all guests feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive until their departure.

Beyond vehicle handling duties, this role demands a professional demeanor characterized by warmth and respect. You will be expected to greet guests using their last names, provide directions, handle inquiries about local amenities and services, and assist with logistical needs such as reservations or taxi arrangements. The position also involves administrative responsibilities including issuing claim checks, collecting payments, and maintaining accurate records related to vehicle keys and guest parking details.

This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work under varying weather conditions, as much of the work is conducted outdoors. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to read and write in English
  • Ability to perform basic math operations
  • Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
  • Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree
  • Valid driver’s license for the state or a commutable distance
  • One month related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of customer and personal service principles
  • Ability to read write and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
  • Ability to present information effectively in small group situations
  • Basic math skills including addition subtraction multiplication and division using American currency
  • Understanding of 24 hour and military time
  • Ability to operate manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant friendly and professional demeanor with guests coworkers and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
  • Use salutation of the day and practice proper phone etiquette
  • Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
  • Provide guests with directions taxis reservations and facility information
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
  • Issue claim checks and collect payments
  • Complete and maintain all ticketing information accurately
  • Shuttle guests as approved by the location
