Conveniently located on the St. Charles Avenue streetcar line, Hotel Tonnelle provides easy access to the city's prime attractions, making it an ideal choice for travelers seeking comfort and adventure alike. The hotel boasts vibrant décor and contemporary furnishings throughout its guest rooms, which come equipped with flat-screen TVs featuring cable channels, work desks, coffee machines, and high-speed wireless internet access. Guests can maintain their fitness routines at the hotel's well-equipped fitness center, featuring elliptical machines, treadmills, and weights. Additionally, a business center with computers, printers, and fax services supports business travelers' needs.

Joining Hotel Tonnelle as a Front Desk Supervisor places you at the heart of the hospitality experience, where your leadership and enthusiasm shape guests' perceptions from the moment they walk through the door. This role is pivotal in setting the overall tone for superior guest service by managing the front desk team and ensuring every interaction is impactful and memorable. You will be responsible for supervising daily operations related to guest check-ins and check-outs, handling VIP requests, reservations, and managing guest concerns with professionalism and warmth. The Front Desk Supervisor serves as a key point of contact for both guests and team members, ensuring smooth communication and operational efficiency.

This full-time position demands open and flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, to cover all shifts effectively. Prior experience working at a hotel front desk is essential, alongside a passion for guest service and team leadership. The role is not only about managing operations but also about inspiring your team to deliver an unforgettable hospitality experience. You will track logs, manage messages and packages, monitor room rates, packages, and promotions to maximize revenue while maintaining excellent guest satisfaction. Your problem-solving skills and ability to lead by example will foster a positive, communicative environment that keeps safety and service standards at the forefront.

At Hotel Tonnelle, an attractive benefits package awaits full-time employees after the initial waiting period. This includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, short-term and long-term disability income, term life and AD&D insurance, paid time off, an employee assistance program, and a 401k retirement plan. Unique to this position is the offering of daily pay, providing financial flexibility to employees.
