The shuttle van driver responsibilities include loading and unloading guest baggage, maintaining the cleanliness and proper functioning of hotel vehicles, monitoring safety and security in public spaces, and providing courteous assistance to guests with luggage, directions, and recommendations. The role also supports front desk operations by answering phones, delivering guest items, and providing breaks as needed, playing a vital role in guest support and service continuity.
On the breakfast host side, the responsibilities extend to greeting hotel guests, managing food and beverage stocks, maintaining cleanliness in the dining area including tables, counters, and kitchen equipment, and organizing the pantry. This role also involves handling trash disposal, sweeping, mopping, and completing communication logs to maintain smooth operations across shifts. The ability to multitask and communicate effectively with management about inventory shortages, maintenance needs, or guest concerns is crucial.
This dual position is integral to providing a seamless and comfortable stay for hotel guests, combining the operational aspects of transportation and hospitality with a focus on safety, cleanliness, and high-quality customer service. Employees are expected to comply with company policies, maintain professionalism, and uphold performance and safety standards. Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting, and handling items up to 100 pounds, reflecting the active nature of this role.
