Renowned as a leader in the hospitality industry, Highgate boasts a global presence with over 400 hotels throughout key regions including North America, Europe, the Caribbean, and Latin America. Established over three decades ago, this innovative organization is recognized for its comprehensive approach to hotel management and property cycle services, ranging from initial planning and development to recapitalization and disposition. Highgate has made a significant mark by developing a diverse and bespoke collection of lifestyle hotel brands, alongside well-known legacy and independent hotels, all designed with contemporary guest experiences and digital innovation in mind. Utilizing state-of-the-art revenue management tools, Highgate ensures precise market analysis and dynamic pricing strategies that drive outstanding financial performance and maximize asset value. Supported by a team of seasoned hospitality executives and a worldwide corporate network, Highgate stands out as a reliable partner for top hotel ownership groups and major brand affiliations. Their commitment to quality, innovation, and operational excellence makes them a preferred employer in the hospitality sector.

This particular role is based at the Residence Inn West Springfield, located in West Springfield, MA. The Sales Manager position at Highgate Hotels involves a strategic focus on driving hotel revenues by actively soliciting, managing, and growing accounts within assigned market segments. The Sales Manager will have a vital part in the hotel’s overall success by developing strong industry relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and managing sales activities with precision and professionalism. The responsibilities include engaging in daily business review meetings, developing a comprehensive understanding of hotel operations — including food and beverage, guest services, and reservations — and rigorously adhering to company sales policies. The Sales Manager is expected to independently manage the sales effort within a designated budget, participate in daily operational duties including management coverage, and lead proactive outreach efforts to generate and convert sales leads. An emphasis is placed on maintaining an active solicitation program, continually monitoring account performance metrics, and fostering client relationships through various engagement activities such as site inspections, entertainment, and hospitality events. The role also involves preparing timely reports, utilizing computerized sales management systems for efficient business tracking, and contributing to community and professional networking activities. This position requires a driven sales professional who is oriented towards achieving targets, motivated by challenges, and skilled in effective communication and negotiation. Employment type for the role is categorized as "Other," with a yearly compensation structure. This opportunity represents a chance to join a dynamic and forward-thinking hospitality company committed to growth and operational excellence within an encouraging work environment.
