Job Description
Peregrine Hospitality Group is an independent franchisee operating multiple Select Service hotels, including Aloft Savannah Downtown and The Fairfield Inn & Suites Savannah Downtown. As an employer distinct from Marriott International, Peregrine Hospitality Group exercises full control over its employment policies, staffing, compensation, and benefits. This organizational structure allows the group to maintain a dynamic and tailored approach to hotel management and guest services, ensuring high-quality experiences for both employees and customers within their properties. The company is committed to fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment, aligning with industry standards and promoting equal opportunity for all applicants regardless of race, gender, or background.
We are seeking a seasoned Hotel Sales Manager to lead the sales efforts for three Select Service hotels in the Savannah and Atlanta markets. This full-time management position is designed for a professional with extensive experience in sales, preferably with prior exposure to Marriott brand standards. The Hotel Sales Manager will be instrumental in driving the hotels' revenue growth by developing and nurturing strategic client relationships, actively prospecting for new business, and ensuring seamless coordination with on-property teams. The role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership capabilities, capable of translating financial and market data into actionable strategies that deliver tangible business results.
In this role, you will be responsible for meeting and exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals for revenue, average daily rate (ADR), and group business. You will maintain an active portfolio of target accounts, consistently cultivating relationships to maximize hotel bookings. You will engage in proactive sales activities including site visits, attending trade shows, and conducting familiarization tours and in-market customer events. Collaboration with events management and other sales channels is crucial to ensure cohesive and efficient sales efforts.
Beyond traditional sales responsibilities, the Hotel Sales Manager will be expected to execute operational aspects related to business booked, ensuring timely and accurate communication with the events team. Addressing and resolving client issues that arise during the sales process is also a key aspect of this role, requiring excellent problem-solving skills and judicious decision-making under pressure.
This role demands strong communication and organizational skills, a thorough understanding of hotel operations and financial goals, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with precision and urgency. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, along with a proven track record in sales within a hospitality environment, demonstrated leadership abilities, and strategic planning expertise. Flexibility in schedule and physical capability to perform duties such as lifting up to 50 pounds and standing or walking for extended periods is required.
The Hotel Sales Manager position offers an annual salary of $55,000 plus quarterly sales incentives, along with vacation and comprehensive benefits. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking hospitality group that emphasizes growth, collaboration, and exceptional service delivery. If you are a motivated sales professional ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role within a supportive team, Peregrine Hospitality Group welcomes your application.
