Job Requirements
- Experience in hotel sales or related hospitality sales
- Knowledge of local market dynamics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain organized records
- Proficiency with sales reporting and CRM systems
- Ability to work full-time in person at the hotel location
Job Qualifications
- Previous hotel sales experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of the Corpus Christi market or similar markets
- Proven ability to generate leads and close business
- Highly organized with strong follow-up and time management skills
- Confident communicator with strong relationship-building ability
- Self-starter who takes ownership and drives results
- Experience with hotel sales systems and reporting tools preferred
Job Duties
- Drive revenue through proactive sales efforts across corporate, group, and local segments
- Generate new business through prospecting, cold calls, site visits, and community engagement
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key local accounts and partners
- Execute group sales from lead generation through contract and servicing
- Conduct hotel tours, client meetings, and presentations to close business
- Partner with Revenue Management to optimize pricing, mix of business, and total hotel performance
- Track sales activity, manage pipeline, and maintain accurate reporting in brand systems
- Stay informed on market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities
