Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior sales experience
- excellent communication skills
- valid and current driver’s license
- reliable transportation
- ability to work weekends and nights
- willingness to travel and attend networking events
- ability to pass background, drivers license, credit and drug screenings
- present driver’s license and social security card for verification
Job Qualifications
- prior sales experience in the hotel industry preferred
- knowledge of full service hotel operations
- excellent communication skills including speaking, listening, and composing emails
- proficient phone and computer skills
- energetic and motivational attitude
- ability to work weekends and nights if needed
- valid and current driver’s license
- reliable transportation
Job Duties
- make sales calls to new and existing customers
- establish and maintain close contact with accounts through a variety of methods
- cultivate leads and work with sales team on leads and follow ups to maintain sales goals
- network with prospects to uncover decision makers
- make cold calls via in person or phone to businesses
- prepare sales reports in timely manner
- participate in networking events
- qualify leads and prospects
- market meeting space, sleeping rooms and banquet events
- make and modify reservations
