Job Description
Disneyland Resort is a world-renowned entertainment and hospitality destination located in Anaheim, California. Known globally for its exceptional customer service and immersive experiences, the Disneyland Resort includes theme parks, hotels, and dining venues that continuously create unforgettable memories for guests of all ages. The resort is operated by The Walt Disney Company, a leader in the entertainment industry recognized for its innovation, quality, and commitment to storytelling through various media and experiences. The Disneyland Resort Hotels provide a luxurious and vibrant lodging experience that complements the magical adventures found at the theme parks. These hotels cater to diverse guests, offering first-class amenities, unique dining options, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere where enchantment meets comfort.
Positioned within this remarkable environment, the Food and Beverage department at the Disneyland Resort Hotels plays an essential role in ensuring guests enjoy a superior dining experience aligned with Disney’s high standards of service excellence. The Room Service/In-Room Dining Cast Member position is a dynamic and fast-paced role that directly contributes to guest satisfaction by bringing the magic of Disney dining right to the comfort and privacy of hotel guests’ rooms. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in luxury hospitality settings and who have a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
As a Room Service/In-Room Dining Cast Member, you will be the face of Disney’s exceptional dining experience beyond the restaurant. Your primary responsibility will be to interact with hotel guests, delivering food and beverage orders with care and professionalism, answering guests’ inquiries, and ensuring a seamless dining experience at their convenience. This position requires prompt and efficient retrieval of used dishes and tableware from guest hallways, transporting items to the dishwashing area, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of all bussing equipment and delivery zones.
This role demands excellent interpersonal skills and a strong commitment to guest service, ensuring that each interaction reflects Disney’s dedication to creating magic for every guest. The work environment is fast-paced, requiring the ability to multitask efficiently without compromising quality or guest satisfaction. Team collaboration is key, as you will work closely with Cashiers and Waitstaff to prioritize guest needs and swiftly resolve any concerns in a professional and calm manner.
Candidates must be prepared for a flexible schedule as the resort hotels operate round-the-clock throughout the year. Shifts can occur early in the morning or late at night, including weekends and holidays, providing a dynamic work schedule that supports the continuous operation of the resort. The pay rate for this role in California is $21.13 per hour plus tips, and select benefits such as medical and financial options may be available depending on the employment level and position offered.
Joining the Disneyland Resort means becoming part of a legacy of creativity, inclusivity, and extraordinary guest service. The role of a Room Service/In-Room Dining Cast Member offers an enriching career opportunity for those eager to contribute to the famous Disney guest experience while growing professionally in a supportive and exciting work setting.
