In this role specifically within the Food and Beverage department at the Disneyland Resort Hotels, you will serve as a Room Service/In-Room Dining Cast Member. This position puts you at the forefront of delivering the magic of Disney dining directly to guests staying at the resort hotels. Beyond the typical responsibilities of food delivery, you will actively interact with guests, ensuring that all their dining needs are met with courtesy and efficiency. Your duties may include retrieving and clearing dishes from guest hallways, transporting used dining equipment for cleaning, and maintaining bussing stations in accordance with the highest standards of cleanliness and organization. Job Requirements

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role
  • 1+ years of serving or bussing experience in an upscale restaurant
  • Demonstrated excellent guest service and service recovery abilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Sense of urgency and desire to work efficiently without sacrificing quality
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a very fast paced environment
  • Initiative to own and resolve guest situations

Job Qualifications

  • 1+ years of serving or bussing experience in an upscale restaurant
  • Demonstrated excellent guest service and service recovery abilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Sense of urgency and desire to work efficiently without sacrificing quality
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a very fast paced environment
  • Initiative to own and resolve guest situations
  • 2+ years room service/in-room dining work experience preferred
  • Alcohol awareness training (i.e. RVP, TIPS or equivalent) preferred
  • Previous work experience in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment preferred
  • 1+ years in a 4/5 star hotel or resort preferred

Job Duties

  • Provide over the top guest service to all hotel guests
  • Retrieve dirty dishes and dining tables from guest hallways in a timely manner
  • Transport dishes, utensils, linens and other dining items to dish washing area to be cleaned
  • Polish brass, metal, and wood grain surfaces
  • Collect dining pre-order door hangers from guest rooms
  • Converse with guests, answering questions and creating a welcoming environment
  • Work closely with cashier and waithelp cast members to ensure guest service is a top priority
  • Resolve any concerns and calmly handle difficult situations
  • Maintain cleanliness of your workspace and delivery area
