Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of Marriott sales experience
- Proven background in outside sales and B2B relationship management
- Strong knowledge of hospitality sales strategies and CRM platforms
- Familiarity with Fosse and Marriott applications
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Ability to commute to Virginia Beach, VA 23464
- Open availability to work nights and weekends as needed
- Experience with team leadership or mentoring
- Proficiency in analyzing sales data and market trends
Job Qualifications
- Proven success in outside sales within the hospitality or related industries, demonstrating a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Experience managing B2B sales processes with a focus on building long-term business relationships
- Strong background in marketing strategies and leveraging technology tools like Salesforce for sales management and analysis
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience managing or mentoring sales teams in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent negotiation skills combined with a customer service mindset that prioritizes client satisfaction
- Analytical skills to interpret sales data, market trends, and customer insights for strategic decision-making
- Knowledge of Fosse and Marriott applications
- Prior experience in technical or complex sales environments is a plus
- Familiarity with business development initiatives
Job Duties
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies tailored to regional market needs, focusing on expanding hotel partnerships and corporate accounts
- Identify new business opportunities through proactive outside sales efforts, including cold calling, networking events, and industry conferences
- Manage key client relationships with a focus on account growth, retention, and satisfaction through personalized service and strategic negotiations
- Initiate and drive LNR's to create base business
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create targeted campaigns that enhance brand visibility and attract new clients
- Utilize CRM platforms such as Salesforce to track sales activities, analyze market trends, and generate insightful reports for continuous improvement
- Lead and motivate the sales team by setting clear goals, providing coaching, and fostering a high-performance culture centered on customer service excellence
- Conduct regular analysis of regional sales performance metrics to identify areas for growth and implement corrective actions promptly
