The role of Regional Sales Manager based in Lincoln, NE, offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of sales and marketing for multiple hotel properties within the Omaha and Lincoln markets. This position requires a dynamic individual who can coordinate and implement cohesive sales strategies effectively across a portfolio of three hotels in the Lincoln area. The Regional Sales Manager will work closely with the Revenue Team and the General Managers to drive revenue growth and maximize market share while ensuring that sales and marketing initiatives align with broader organizational goals. This role demands a proactive, organized, and resourceful professional adept at managing multiple properties and skilled in analyzing market trends and customer data to optimize sales performance.

The successful candidate will bring a strong background in hospitality sales management and marketing, with proven experience navigating the complexities of multi-property sales challenges. This individual will be skilled in identifying profitable business opportunities, quickly evaluating leads within short booking windows, and nurturing lasting client relationships. Furthermore, they will demonstrate excellent communication skills, analytical prowess, and a deep understanding of industry tools and technologies including STR data, TravelClick Business Intelligence, and various brand platforms. Job Qualifications

  • minimum 2 years of hotel sales and analysis experience

  • high proficiency in TravelClick Demand Rate and Agency 360 IHG Concerto IHG RFP MarRFP One Yield STR and other evolving systems

Job Duties

  • handle fast-paced transactions typically within a 30 to 90 days window of consumption
  • evaluate leads to select the most profitable opportunities within a short booking window
  • build and maintain relationships with new current past and prospective clients
  • design create and present promotional materials in response to leads and avoid pursuit of low value leads
  • use all brand and vendor sales tools resources and keep current on brand programs
  • ensure a high level of engagement in all brands and Anant initiatives resources and closing tools
  • provide feedback and recommendations on how to maximize client experience
  • perform detailed analyses using conceptual statistical and financial techniques to evaluate the impact of new initiatives measure performance and determine growth opportunities
  • analyze trends patterns and irregularities in key metrics to drive business decisions
  • actively engage in key partnerships and relationships across the company to ensure alignment and long-term success
  • project manage the implementation of approved initiatives and meet with key partners to ensure smooth activation
  • develop and maintain ongoing and ad-hoc reporting build and deliver presentations to partners and clients at various organizational levels
  • monitor industry trends and competitive benchmarks
  • assist with project management of key business initiatives
  • develop and maintain positive service-oriented relationships with partners and clients
  • demonstrate understanding of market conditions industry trends and competition by analyzing STR data TravelClick Business Intelligence Brand reports and other platforms
  • review Proformas and Displacement Models to determine optimal mix of business and profitability of potential accounts
  • effectively move share from competitors to the hotel achieving desired RevPAR index goals
  • continually identify and solicit new clients and target groups
  • collaborate with General Manager Revenue Manager and sales team to creatively secure business
  • manage marketing selling and delivering hospitality services for the portfolio
