Job Description

Evolution Hospitality is the dedicated lifestyle vertical at Aimbridge Hospitality, specializing in managing a curated collection of independent, luxury, boutique, lifestyle, and soft brand hotels across North America. This company also oversees various restaurants, bars, and lounges, emphasizing a culture that balances exceptional service with strong business results. Evolution Hospitality is known for its commitment to authenticity, humility, and continuous personal and professional growth among its team members. The organization's approach fosters an environment where innovation thrives, teamwork is valued, and guest experience is paramount. With a clear focus on lifestyle hospitality, the company delivers unique and memorable experiences tailored to each property’s distinct character and market position.

One of the crown jewels within Evolution Hospitality's portfolio is The Queen Mary Hotel in Long Beach, California. This historic hotel was once a world-class ocean liner and now offers guests a unique lodging experience steeped in history and charm. The property features authentic polished wood paneling, original 1930s artwork, Art Deco styling, and operable portholes that evoke the golden era of transatlantic travel. Each stateroom at The Queen Mary Hotel has its own distinct personality, offering guests a glimpse into what travel was like in the 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s. Beyond accommodations, the hotel provides a wide array of attractions, including historic tours, paranormal experiences, specialty shops, a spa, and special events, ensuring that visitors enjoy a rich and varied stay.

The Director of Revenue role at Evolution Hospitality plays a critical leadership function in driving the financial success of its hotel properties. This position calls for a dynamic professional skilled in revenue management, strategic forecasting, and collaborative leadership. As Director of Revenue, the individual will work closely with property teams to uncover and capitalize on every revenue opportunity—whether at a full-service, premium select, or independent hotel. The role demands daily engagement with team members to implement yield control strategies and optimize inventory across all sales channels.

Beyond daily operational support, this director-level position involves deep data analysis to inform market strategies and outmaneuver competitors. A key part of the role is partnering with sales and marketing teams to maximize group business and enhance the hotel's guest experience through creative and effective campaigns. The Director of Revenue will lead regular meetings, prepare insightful reports, and conduct training sessions to ensure operational excellence and continuous improvement across the revenue management function.

Moreover, the Director of Revenue is a vital member of the Executive Committee. In this capacity, the individual contributes to shaping the property’s long-term strategic direction, ensuring financial goals are met while staying true to the brand’s service standards. The role requires a passion for coaching and mentoring the team, championing budgeting processes, and always seeking innovative ways to maintain and grow profitability. Evolution Hospitality supports this pivotal position with a comprehensive benefits package and career development opportunities, emphasizing a balanced approach to workplace culture and business acumen.
