Job Description

Our hotel is a well-established hospitality company committed to providing exceptional guest experiences through impeccable service and a well-maintained property. Nestled in a prime location, our hotel caters to a diverse clientele, ranging from business travelers to vacationing families. We take pride in the cleanliness, appearance, and functionality of our property, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment for every guest who walks through our doors. The company fosters a culture of teamwork, attention to detail, and continuous improvement, with a dedicated maintenance staff that plays a crucial role in upholding these standards. We offer a supportive work environment that values reliability, professionalism, and a hands-on approach to property care.

We are currently seeking a reliable, self-motivated Part-Time Painter & Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is integral to maintaining the aesthetic appeal and operational functionality of our hotel. The position is part-time, typically scheduled 2-3 days per week, which offers flexibility while still providing meaningful engagement with the property. Occasionally, weekend availability may be required for emergencies or special projects, though this is rare.

This role will also encompass a variety of general maintenance tasks such as landscaping upkeep, preventive maintenance, and housekeeping assistance. The ideal candidate will possess substantial painting experience and a knack for problem-solving, along with the physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and climbing ladders. They must be detail-oriented, able to work independently with minimal supervision, and committed to maintaining high standards throughout the property.

Responsibilities extend beyond painting to include keeping common areas clean, managing repairs, participating in deep cleaning projects, and responding to emergency maintenance situations when necessary. The position consistently supports the hotel's goal of providing guests with a clean, safe, and inviting stay. Competitive compensation is offered at $18-20 per hour, complemented by health insurance, other benefits, and bonus opportunities. This role is ideal for someone who has a passion for quality workmanship and a proactive approach to maintenance in a hospitality setting.
