Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least six months experience as a Guest Service Agent at Hyatt House preferred
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Completion of all First Place Training Modules
  • Schedule flexibility must be able to work any shift including weekends and holidays
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Ability to work well with other associates

Job Duties

  • Serve as first contact for guest concerns, ensuring timely service recovery and follow-up
  • Assist with training, coaching, and onboarding of new team members across multiple departments
  • Conduct daily huddles to communicate the day’s events to Guest Service Agents
  • Support Front Desk operations during peak times or staffing gaps
  • Assist Food & Beverage Supervisor with breakfast operations, inventory, and bar support
  • Perform basic guest room inspections to ensure cleanliness and brand standards
  • Oversee reservations including pre-assignment and monitoring third-party agency billing and communications
  • Conduct property tours as necessary
  • Manage administrative tasks such as inventory, supply ordering, vendor communication, and incident documentation
  • Walk through public areas and kitchen, providing follow-up reports to management
  • Act as Manager on Duty in the absence of management
