Job Description

Sandpiper Hospitality (SH) is a dynamic and rapidly growing company in the extended stay hotel market, known for its commitment to operational excellence and guest satisfaction. As one of the fastest-growing players in the hospitality industry, SH prides itself on delivering unparalleled service and maintaining high standards across its properties. The company fosters a culture centered around core values such as "Play To Win" and "We Grow By Giving," emphasizing teamwork, continuous improvement, and a dedication to both employees and guests. Sandpiper Hospitality invests significantly in its associates through comprehensive training, professional development, and attractive incentive programs, ensuring that every team member is equipped to contribute meaningfully and grow their career within the organization.

The role of On-Site Manager at Sandpiper Hospitality is a unique leadership opportunity that requires living on-site at the hotel to guarantee flawless operations and serve as the 24/7 operational anchor. This position acts as the vital partner to the General Manager (GM) and serves as the primary manager for weekend operations and overnight on-call coverage from Wednesday through Sunday. As the Manager on Duty, the On-Site Manager assumes full responsibility for the hotel in the absence of the GM, managing budgets, maintaining standards, and ensuring guest satisfaction. This role demands exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to oversee multiple departments including Front Desk, Housekeeping, and Maintenance. The On-Site Manager plays a crucial role in supervising weekend staff, handling property performance, and fostering a positive workplace culture in alignment with Sandpiper's standards.

Key responsibilities include managing the Front Desk team through hiring, training, and performance appraisals; supervising weekend operations for all front office and support staff; assisting with financial controls such as payroll approval and budget adherence; and ensuring the highest levels of guest service and security. The role also contributes to sales efforts to maximize hotel revenues and maintains compliance with all brand standards. Compliance with Sandpiper's Fraternization Policy is mandatory, and the position requires a strict commitment to operational excellence and guest experience.

This position is full-time and highly responsible, ideal for candidates who thrive in a hands-on management environment and are ready to take on the challenge of overseeing a hotel property continuously. In return, Sandpiper Hospitality offers generous paid time off, travel perks such as associate room discounts, comprehensive health care plans with significant company contributions, rewarding incentive programs, and ongoing career development opportunities. The company culture embraces fun and recognition, reinforcing core values through programs like Rewardian and annual surprise packages. If you are a strategic leader with a passion for hospitality and a commitment to being "All In," Sandpiper Hospitality invites you to join their team as an On-Site Manager, where you will live on-site and lead with dedication and integrity to ensure the hotel operates flawlessly at all times.
