The position available is for a Hotel General Manager who will provide senior direction and leadership to the hotel operations under the general supervision of the Osage Casino General Manager and technical guidance from the Director of Hospitality. This full-time role is responsible for all aspects of hotel management including pre-opening preparations, staffing, daily operations, financial performance, guest satisfaction, and regulatory compliance. The General Manager will manage multiple hotel departments, such as front desk, housekeeping, valet services, and more, ensuring they have the necessary personnel, training, and resources to perform effectively. Leadership duties include recruiting, scheduling, coaching, evaluating staff, and enforcing company policies while maintaining a positive workplace culture.

The General Manager will oversee the development and continuous improvement of guest service standards to maximize the hotel’s occupancy and profitability, meticulously monitoring budgets, expenditures, and operational reports. They will also cultivate important third-party relationships and contracts to align with the vision of Osage Casinos, contributing to long-term strategic goals. Coordination with gaming and event departments is paramount to deliver exceptional VIP guest services and accommodate large special events efficiently.

In addition to operational and staff management, the Hotel General Manager must ensure compliance with all applicable laws, gaming regulations, and company policies, including those set by the National Indian Gaming Commission, Osage Nation Gaming Commission, and other regulatory bodies. They will foster a culture of compliance and continuous professional development by conducting research and participating in relevant training and industry organizations.

Candidates should possess strong leadership, communication, financial, and problem-solving skills, supported by a working knowledge of hospitality management, marketing, accounting, and facility maintenance. This position demands physical capabilities for typical hotel work environments, occasional lifting, and standing, with readiness to handle diverse and demanding situations professionally.

Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Three years hotel experience required
  • Two years in management capacity required
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
  • New property development experience preferred
  • Gaming experience preferred
  • Required to pass pre-employment drug screening
  • Required to obtain and maintain gaming license
  • Required to maintain valid driver’s license
  • Required to provide documents proving eligibility to work in the United States
  • Osage, Native American, and Veteran preference applies
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
  • Three years of hotel experience required

  • Knowledge of hotel, casino, and hospitality operations
  • Familiarity with management accounting, finance, and budget control

  • Ability to conduct presentations and write reports professionally
  • Knowledge of travel, tourism, and building construction

Job Duties

  • Provide direction and leadership in hotel management and operations
