Job Description

The hiring establishment is a prestigious hotel known for its commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences and superior service quality. As a leader in the hospitality industry, this hotel offers a dynamic environment where customer satisfaction, associate development, and operational excellence are prioritized. The company is dedicated to maintaining its property in first-class condition, ensuring guest comfort, and fostering a culture that values each associate's contributions and growth. This organization is focused on supporting community engagement, maintaining compliance with corporate and legal standards, and exceeding financial goals through effective management and strategic planning. They encourage innovation and leadership in all areas of hotel operations to uphold their reputation as a premier destination for travelers and associates alike.

The role of the Hotel Manager is pivotal and multifaceted, serving as the visionary leader responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations. The Hotel Manager is entrusted with achieving guest, associate, corporate, and owner satisfaction by delivering high-quality service while meeting or surpassing established financial targets. This is accomplished through the creation and nurturing of a vibrant service culture that values and empowers staff at all levels. The manager recommends the hotel’s budget, marketing strategies, and business plans, ensuring operations align with these directives and organizational objectives. This position entails the direct supervision of department heads, including Housekeeping and Front Office divisions (with variations like Security, Empyrean, and Valet depending on the property), and indirect supervision of all hotel associates, ensuring that service standards and operational goals are consistently met.

Further responsibilities encompass maintaining strong communication channels with hotel owners, local officials, and social and charitable organizations to foster positive relationships and promote the hotel's market positioning. The manager plays a critical role in resolving guest complaints timely and maintaining integration with customer satisfaction systems such as OSAT and SALT. Leadership extends to asset management, engineering services, human resources, and implementing company policies across all departments. The Hotel Manager champions recruitment, training, motivation, performance feedback, and development programs that build a competent and engaged workforce. The position requires strategic oversight of staffing, budget adherence, profit maximization, and safety standards.

Operational duties include driving the Customer Satisfaction Index, monitoring daily logs for performance review, and ensuring compliance with franchise agreements, contracts, and legal regulations. The manager leads regular departmental meetings to enhance communication and boost morale, promotes recognition and reward cultures, enforces standard operating procedures, and audits processes to ensure efficacy. The role demands proactive involvement in property and financial management, marketing available inventory, and participation in division projects as appointed by senior executives. Emergency response responsibilities and maintaining charm and security of the property further underscore the comprehensive nature of this leadership position.

Overall, the Hotel Manager role is designed for a highly skilled hospitality professional with extensive operational experience, excellent leadership capabilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
