Job Description

Hampton Inn & Suites Fort Myers-Estero/FGCU is a recently acquired hotel under the prestigious Colwen Hotels brand, positioned in a vibrant location that caters to both leisure and business travelers. The hotel is part of the Hampton by Hilton portfolio, known for quality standards, comfort, and exceptional guest experiences. Colwen Hotels, which manages nearly 50 hotels across nine states, is a hospitality company that values people, passion, and innovation. The company fosters a culture based on hard work, integrity, and authentic relationships, empowering associates to deliver memorable experiences and build rewarding careers. Their expanding portfolio offers substantial career growth and leadership development opportunities for hospitality professionals.

This role is a hands-on Hotel Manager position at the Hampton Inn & Suites Fort Myers-Estero/FGCU, designed for a dynamic leader who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment. This is not a behind-the-desk role; the Hotel Manager will be a visible, engaged leader who actively participates in daily hotel operations. The manager will serve as the senior on-property operational leader, taking responsibility for the hotel's overall day-to-day performance while fostering a culture centered on exceptional guest service, associate engagement, operational excellence, and financial success. Reporting directly to the Regional Director of Operations, the Hotel Manager will lead the hotel’s daily operations, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Food & Beverage, and Accounting departments. The role involves developing department leaders, driving financial performance, and ensuring all aspects of the guest experience meet Hampton by Hilton's brand standards and Colwen Hotels’ commitment to hospitality excellence.

The Hotel Manager will be instrumental in building strong, high-performing teams, driving results, and positioning the hotel for long-term success. Responsibilities include creating an exceptional guest experience through service excellence and operational consistency, coaching and mentoring associates, conducting routine property inspections to maintain quality, cleanliness, and safety, and collaborating with department leaders to improve operational efficiencies and guest satisfaction scores. Financial oversight is a key part of the role, with duties encompassing developing and managing the hotel’s operating budget, monitoring revenues, labor costs, expenses, and departmental productivity, analyzing financial reports, forecasting business trends, and implementing strategies to maximize profitability and operational performance. This position requires a proactive and hands-on leadership style, excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, as well as a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences and building engaged teams. Hilton brand experience is preferred but not required.
