Job Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years experience director level or higher in hospitality operations
  • Extensive background leading operational teams
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • An aptitude for self-motivation
  • A can-do attitude and a hands-on approach
  • Strong computer skills
  • A flexible schedule that allows availability days, nights, holidays, and weekends based on hotel demands

Job Duties

  • Tour the operating departments daily to ensure smooth operation and staffing
  • Conduct weekly manager meetings including training sessions and review of sales and operations
  • Hold weekly one-on-one meetings with operational department heads to review financials, goals, and performance
  • Attend operational line ups at least once a week
  • Meet all financial review deadlines and corporate programs promptly
  • Ensure department heads maintain budgeted productivity and financial procedures
  • Oversee and assist in budget and monthly forecast processes
  • Ensure training in service standards across departments
  • Manage payroll procedures and control overtime and meal break penalties
  • Ensure compliance with PCI protocols across all operational departments and vendors
  • Foster a positive team environment focusing on guest satisfaction and team development
  • Inspect rooms weekly with housekeeping, engineering, and food and beverage departments
  • Maintain cleanliness and maintenance of the property through inspections and preventive maintenance
  • Interview final candidates for vacant operational managerial positions
  • Motivate, coach, counsel and discipline department heads
  • Be present in public areas during peak times to engage with guests and assist team members
  • Perform other duties as required
