Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of director level experience in hospitality industry
- Experience managing multiple hotel divisions preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to perform job duties including standing, bending, lifting up to 25 pounds
- Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service
- Proficiency in budgeting and financial management
- Demonstrated capability in team building and employee development
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of director level hospitality experience
- Experience working in multiple hotel divisions including front office, guest service, food and beverage, and/or housekeeping preferred
- Previous experience in large, up-scale, multi-outlet property preferred
- Excellent planning, organization, and guest service skills
- Outstanding leadership and communication abilities
- Proven track record demonstrating achievement of profit and guest service goals
- Ability to push, stand, stoop, bend, and lift items weighing up to 25 pounds repetitively
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Provide operational oversight ensuring successful execution of business strategies including financial, guest and team member engagement and owner/partner relations
- Lead collaboratively with property executive committee members to deliver on business objectives
- Identify, oversee, and implement performance optimization and course-correction opportunities to achieve operational excellence
- Attract, retain and develop industry-leading talent
- Responsible for team member engagement, communications, training, and development
- Actively participate in the selection, training and performance management of the team
- Embrace and exemplify the Loews culture by cultivating an open-door environment and operating with social responsibility
- Ensure that operations deliver on Loews operating standards
- Responsible for overall guest satisfaction, setting goals to achieve specific objectives
- Assist with the development of the annual hotel operating and capital budget
- Actively monitor operational and labor expenses and make adjustments as needed to ensure delivery on financial objectives
- Oversee capital expenditure plans and project budgets, maximizing return on investment and minimizing guest disruption
- Protect the hotel and assets by enforcing and maintaining security, preventative maintenance, and safety programs
- Perform other duties as assigned
