Job Description

Le Meridien Pinnacle San Diego is a prestigious hotel owned and operated by Pinnacle International, an independent franchisee. This property operates separately from Marriott International, Inc., with Pinnacle International solely managing all aspects of the hotel's employment policies, including hiring, firing, staffing, compensation, benefits, and other employment terms. Located in the vibrant downtown area of San Diego, California, this new hotel destination boasts 239 guestrooms, expansive 10,000 square feet of function space, a stylish restaurant, and a lounge, all designed to provide guests with an exceptional hospitality experience. Pinnacle International's commitment to quality and guest satisfaction ensures a dynamic work environment that values leadership, innovation, and dedication.

The Hotel Manager role at Le Meridien Pinnacle San Diego is a unique opportunity to join the initial team responsible for launching this brand-new property. As the Hotel Manager, you will report directly to the General Manager and be instrumental in shaping the operational standards and guest experience from the ground up. This position is a full-time management role that demands a seasoned professional with an exemplary track record in executive hotel leadership, especially within premium branded properties. The chosen candidate will oversee the day-to-day hotel operations encompassing guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, food and beverage operations, and overall staff management.

This role requires a highly proactive, hands-on approach coupled with visionary leadership skills. You will ensure operational efficiency, uphold the highest standards of guest service, and maintain compliance with health, safety, and corporate regulations. Managing financial planning, budget control, and cost management will be critical facets of the role, along with strategizing ways to increase hotel occupancy, revenue, and customer satisfaction. The Hotel Manager will lead, train, and motivate a diverse team to create an exceptional hospitality culture.

Additional responsibilities include handling guest relations, swiftly resolving any complaints or operational issues with professionalism, and collaborating closely with marketing and sales teams to promote the hotel. Monitoring and managing the hotel's online reputation through digital channels will be an important aspect of your role to ensure consistent quality and visibility in a competitive market.

Starting salary for this position ranges between $110,000 and $120,000 annually, complemented by a performance bonus and benefits. This role requires in-person presence in San Diego with a typical schedule of Monday to Friday, with weekends as needed. This is an excellent career opportunity for a hotel management professional who has experience managing Marriott branded properties and is familiar with the Greater San Diego and Southern California tourism and hospitality market. Hotel opening experience is highly preferred. Education in Hospitality or Hotel Management is considered an asset. If you have the passion and expertise to lead a high-profile property launch and deliver superior guest experiences, this role offers the ideal platform to showcase your leadership and operational acumen.
