Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years experience in hotel or resort management
- Proven supervisory skills in a hospitality environment
- Ability to manage multiple departments and teams effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with budgeting and financial management
- Knowledge of hospitality industry regulations
- Willingness to work in person and flexible schedule as needed
Job Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience in hotel or resort management
- Strong background in hospitality management
- Experience with guest services, front desk operations, and night audit procedures
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse staff
- Knowledge of revenue management strategies and budgeting
- Human resources experience including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities preferred
- Experience with multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette
- Familiarity with guest relations techniques to enhance customer satisfaction
Job Duties
- Lead and supervise all hotel departments including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and guest services to ensure seamless operations
- Develop and implement strategies for revenue management, pricing, and occupancy optimization to maximize profitability
- Oversee human resources functions such as hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development to build a motivated team
- Manage budgeting processes, control expenses, and ensure financial targets are met through effective cost management
- Maintain high standards of guest relations by addressing guest inquiries, resolving complaints promptly, and ensuring memorable experiences
- Oversee night audit procedures and ensure accurate financial reporting at the end of each day
- Implement policies for phone etiquette, multi-line phone systems, and front desk operations to enhance guest interactions
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to uphold cleanliness, safety standards, and facility upkeep
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, leadership development, and exceptional customer service
- Ensure compliance with hospitality regulations and hotel policies while promoting a culture of hospitality excellence
