We are currently seeking a motivated and service-oriented Function Server to join our vibrant team. This role involves supporting event setup by reviewing Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to understand menu details, room arrangements, and specific food, beverage, and audio visual needs. The Function Server assists set up staff with various preparations including table arrangements, buffet and bar setups, ensuring that all areas are ready before guests arrive. A key aspect of the role includes checking the quality and presentation of food prior to serving, as well as preparing and serving beverages promptly during the function. Providing professional and courteous service to all guests is paramount, maintaining clear communication with the kitchen to update any changes promptly.
This position requires someone who thrives in fast-paced and high-pressure environments, demonstrating a high level of work ethic and initiative. Flexibility is essential as shifts may include nights, weekends, and holidays. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food and beverage service preferred
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- Review BEOs for menu details, room setup, food, beverage and audio visual needs

- Communicate with kitchen keeping update on any changes
