Job Requirements

  • Ability to work in high pressure situations
  • Willingness to work varying schedules including nights weekends and holidays
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Capacity to perform prolonged sitting at a desk with occasional standing and walking
  • Physical ability to lift or move 10 to 25 pounds as needed
  • Ability to see and differentiate colors on computer screens and printed materials
  • Ability to hear and participate in conversations and meetings
  • Willingness to accept reasonable accommodations as needed

Job Qualifications

  • Effective communication skills both verbal and written
  • High work ethic and self-initiative
  • Ability to work in high pressure situations
  • Ability to read and interpret BEOs to understand and verify room set up and menu served
  • Enjoy working as part of a team that provides great experiences for guests

Job Duties

  • Make arrangements for equipment needed for guest functions ensuring its accuracy and completeness prior to staff arrival for room set up
  • Assist banquet staff in room set up making sure all guest tables buffet tables and equipment are set up correctly
  • Ensure all requests and needs are met referencing BEOs
  • Schedule staff for pre-meal assignments and function stations informing them of any special request or special instructions
  • Inspect food for quality and presentation prior to serving
  • Keep open communication with kitchen staff informing them of any changes or special instructions
