Job Description

Kinseth Hotel Corporation is a renowned hospitality company known for its commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences across its family of hotels and restaurants. With a focus on quality service, comfort, and a welcoming atmosphere, Kinseth Hotel Corporation operates multiple properties offering both lodging and dining services to travelers and local visitors. The company prides itself on maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency, thereby ensuring that every guest enjoys a pleasant stay. As an employer, Kinseth Hotel Corporation values its employees and offers competitive wages, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for career growth within the hospitality industry.

The role of Housekeeper with supervisory duties at Kinseth Hotel Corporation is a dynamic position that blends hands-on housekeeping responsibilities with leadership tasks. This hybrid role requires an individual who is detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of managing a team while actively participating in the daily cleaning and maintenance operations. The position entails working as a housekeeper with a starting wage of $14.50 per hour, and taking on additional supervisory responsibilities twice weekly on Sundays and Mondays at a supervisor wage of $15.50 per hour. This dual role seeks to ensure that the housekeeping department operates smoothly and efficiently, meeting the high standards expected at Kinseth hotels.

Housekeepers in this role are responsible for maintaining clean, orderly, and attractive conditions throughout the hotel property. The supervisory aspect involves overseeing the housekeeping staff, implementing procedures, coordinating schedules, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. Supervisory duties include providing training, handling employee relations, and liaising with other departments such as the front desk to ensure seamless guest experiences. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to advance within the hospitality sector while contributing directly to hotel operations.

Key responsibilities include establishing housekeeping standards, monitoring cleaning procedures and chemical usage for cost-effectiveness, maintaining safety protocols including MSDS sheet education, and conducting daily inspections of hotel guestrooms. Supervisors ensure appropriate storage security, manage lost and found items, schedule deep cleaning activities, and evaluate the physical condition of hotel assets such as carpets, drapes, and furniture. They also make recommendations for improvements and repairs.

The job demands physical stamina, including standing, walking, lifting, and handling cleaning equipment. Staff must comply with Kinseth Hotel Corporation policies regarding dress code, safety, and performance standards while maintaining a professional image and punctual attendance. Benefits after 60 days include health, dental, vision insurance, 401k, paid training, paid time off, and discounts on hospitality services offered by the corporation. This role is ideal for organized, proactive individuals passionate about hospitality and leadership in a fast-paced hotel environment.
