The role of Housekeeping Manager at Kinseth Hotel Corporation is a pivotal position responsible for directing the hotel's housekeeping program to ensure that all areas of the property are clean, orderly, and maintained to the highest standards. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in housekeeping or hotel management
- Ability to supervise 10 to 30 employees
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety protocols
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting
- Availability to work according to schedule

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or supervisory role
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety standards

Job Duties
- Establishes standards and procedures for hotel housekeeping and laundry staff including safety, chemical usage, cleaning, and storage
- Plans work schedules to ensure adequate service and adherence to budgeted labor guidelines
- Monitors chemical systems and laundry procedures to control costs
- Maintains MSDS sheets and educates staff on safety protocols
- Inspects hotel guestrooms daily and assists in cleaning or laundry as needed
- Ensures proper storage and security of housekeeping room keys
- Communicates regularly with Front Desk on room inventory status and updates system
- Ensures guest satisfaction by addressing questions, concerns, or problems quickly
- Inspects and evaluates physical condition of the property, planning for carpet shampooing, mattress turning, and seasonal deep cleaning
- Submits recommendations for hotel repairs, furnishings, and space reallocation to management
- Inventories and purchases supplies and equipment following purchasing guidelines and budget
- Investigates new cleaning instruments and methods
- Manages guest lost and found inventory
- Schedules and inspects deep cleaning activities
