We are currently seeking full-time Housekeeping Associates to join our dedicated team at the Sioux Falls Sheraton. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of guest rooms and public spaces, key to delivering the exceptional service standards Sheraton is known for. The compensation for this position starts at $15.50 per hour, with actual pay determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, and specific job location.

Responsibilities include thorough cleaning of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring immaculate standards are met consistently. This entails making beds, scrubbing bathrooms until sparkling clean, dusting, vacuuming, and restocking guest amenities such as towels and toiletries. Attention to detail is paramount, as we strive to make each guest’s stay welcoming and comfortable without them needing to ask for extra necessities. Employees will also be responsible for managing laundry operations, including sorting, operating machines safely, and maintaining linen quality.

The Housekeeping Associate’s work environment is organized and efficient, with emphasis placed on keeping carts and closets tidy to promote a neat working space that supports operational effectiveness. Teamwork is essential, as associates are expected to contribute to deep cleaning efforts, special projects, and assist in team training sessions as needed. Physical stamina is important, as the role involves lifting weights up to 50 pounds, bending, squatting, and standing throughout the entire shift.
