Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous experience in housekeeping or related field preferred
  • ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
  • knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
  • good communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to follow instructions and work independently or in a team
  • willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping preferred but not required
  • familiarity with custodial practices and industrial cleaning techniques advantageous
  • knowledge of housekeeping management principles a plus
  • strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness
  • ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Job Duties

  • Clean and maintain guest rooms, hallways, and public areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • perform floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces
  • handle laundry services including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels
  • restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and linens in guest rooms and common areas
  • report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
  • follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
  • assist with deep cleaning tasks as required during off-peak times or special events
  • provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests in a timely manner
