Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or hospitality roles
- ability to operate industrial cleaning and laundry equipment
- strong attention to detail
- physical capability to perform manual tasks
- ability to follow safety protocols
- excellent communication skills
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments
- hotel experience is highly desirable
- strong knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, waxing, and polishing surfaces
- familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and laundry machinery
- excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality custodial services
- ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- prior experience in housekeeping management or supervising cleaning staff is a plus
- physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
Job Duties
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities to ensure a pristine environment
- maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces to uphold high standards of hygiene and presentation
- operate industrial cleaning equipment safely and efficiently for floor care, carpet cleaning, and surface sanitation
- manage laundry operations by sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and guest clothing with care and precision
- follow established safety procedures during cleaning tasks to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations
- report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and maintain facility standards
- assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and linens to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained
