Job Requirements
- Must have legal authorization to work in the United States
- Ability to meet physical demands of the job including standing, walking, bending, and lifting
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Reliability and punctuality
- Basic understanding of English
- Willingness to follow safety and sanitary guidelines
- Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in a hotel or similar setting preferred
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
Job Duties
- Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures
- Cleaning and sanitizing toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, and sinks
- Making beds and changing linens
- Vacuuming and cleaning carpets and rugs
- Sweeping, vacuuming, polishing, and mopping hard floors
- Sorting, washing, loading, and unloading laundry
- Using cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and other tools
- Keeping bathrooms stocked with clean linens, toiletries, and other supplies
- Cleaning mirrors and other glass surfaces
- Emptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste
- Steaming and cleaning draperies
- Washing blinds
- Tidying up rooms
- Monitoring cleaning supplies and ordering more as needed
- Reporting any necessary repairs or replacements
