The role of a Room Attendant at First Hospitality is instrumental in shaping an exceptional guest experience. Room Attendants play a vital role by maintaining clean and inviting hotel guest rooms and public areas aligned with the brand's high standards. This position requires careful attention to detail to ensure every element within the room contributes to a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere for guests during their stay. The primary responsibility of the Room Attendant is to not only meet but exceed guest expectations by delivering consistently spotless and well-prepared rooms. This includes styling rooms, replenishing supplies, and promptly addressing any guest requests or concerns.

Room Attendants at First Hospitality act as ambassadors of hospitality, engaging positively with guests to identify their needs and ensure satisfaction throughout their stay. They take ownership of resolving guest challenges by collaborating with the hotel's Guest Services team and leadership. Furthermore, Room Attendants uphold professionalism that aligns with both the company’s and hotel brand’s standards and are expected to be knowledgeable about hotel emergency procedures, ready to assist guests in any urgent situation. Job Requirements

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write in primary language(s) used in the workplace
  • 8+ hours per day
  • stand and walk frequently throughout the workday
  • Lift, lower, and maneuver up to 30 pounds occasionally
  • Reach, bend, stoop, and pivot frequently throughout the workday

Job Qualifications

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to speak, read, and write in primary language(s) used in the workplace
  • Experience in housekeeping or hospitality preferred
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards
  • Strong interpersonal skills for guest engagement
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Clean and style hotel rooms and public areas efficiently, to brand expectations, and with great attention to detail
  • Refresh and replenish guest rooms with amenities, supplies, linen, and applicable collateral to ensure all items are available for guest use according to brand standard
  • Take proactive approach to prevent guest challenges by inspecting work, identifying and communicating maintenance concerns, and replacing items when necessary
  • Effectively engage and build rapport with guests to identify needs and ensure guest satisfaction
  • Take ownership to resolve guest challenges, working collaboratively with the hotel's Guest Services team and hotel leadership
  • Always maintain professionalism consistent with hotel brand and company expectations
  • Know and communicate hotel emergency procedures
  • inform and assist guests in emergencies
  • Take on additional tasks as necessary or assigned by hotel leadership
